Students at Montgomery have the option to enjoy several extracurricular clubs and activities after school. Some clubs are limited to specific age groups and are offered at an additional cost.

Join the 2023-24 MES Garden Club for Spring!
Did you miss our Fall MES Garden Club Registration? Are you a new family to MES?

The MES Gathering Garden is located at the back of the school, between the main building and the Gym. MES Garden Club is a PTO sponsored club run by volunteer parents and a teacher sponsor. The MES Garden Club holds garden based project events throughout the school year. Garden Club is free to join, supported by donations, and MES students can register in mid August for the entire school year. Once registered, students can then be signed up for individual events during the year. For safety and capacity reasons, students must be registered and signed up for events ahead of time. Events follow a range of activities from planting, investigation, learning, discussing garden safety, listening to guest speakers, garden themed crafts, weeding, watering, and making planning decisions for the MES Gathering Garden.

Kilometer Kids Run Club - Spring Update
We're excited for our Spring season of Kilometer Kids Run Club! 

What: Kilometer Kids running program, 10-week session

When: Thursdays 2:30-3:30 (after school)

Dates: Thursday, February 29th - Thursday, May 9th

Where: Montgomery Campus

Who: Students in 1st - 5th grade (Kindergarten for coaches’ kids only)

- To sign up, the parent/guardian will first be prompted to make an account in LeagueApps, then add a child profile for each kid they plan to register, and then will be able to select their Montogomery grade team in the dropdown in the registration form.
- Please note: if you do not see your child's grade group listed in the dropdown menu, that means that that group is already full. Please do not just select another grade group as this removes a spot that is meant to be available for kids who are eligible for that group and will cause issues for our registration process. Instead, please sign up for the waitlist and list "Montgomery, Grade" for your child when asked which team you are interested in. We will notify you if a spot becomes available and your child can join.

Run Club Coaches Needed: We are in the process of getting our coaches signed up for the season and we would love to have you join us! No running experience or coaching experience is needed. Kilometer Kids provides great resources and you will be partnered with other MES parents. Also, if you are a coach, your kindergartner can participate!
